Botanical Name: 
Podocarpus macrophyllus v. maki

Native of southern China, Japan. An upright oval to columnar shrub or tree. Leaves are bright green above, glaucous beneath, linear, 1" to 3" long, 1/4" to 3/8" wide, arranged spirally on stem. Works well as a natural screen or in patio planters. Prefers well drained, fertile soils and does not tolerate wet feet. Very heat tolerant with a slow growth rate.
