Native to Mexico. An extremely fast growing perennial vine with tuberous roots. Leaves are bright green, 3" to 5" long, heart-shaped. Foliage is open and airy and can take the full hot sun. Blooms are rose-pink and carried in long trailing sprays.

Where winter temperatures dip below 25 degrees F mulch roots to avoid damage. Prune or cut back frost damaged stems before new spring growth appears.  Plants will generate new growth quickly once warm weather returns.
