Stachys coccinea

Native to the southwest U.S. and northern Mexico. A herbaceous, clump-forming, perennial with scarlet-red, tubular blooms. Leaves are gray-green, opposite, ovate, toothed, heavily veined, 3" long, 1 1/2" wide. Blooms spring through autumn.
