Saponaria ocymoides

Native to Europe. An easy to grow perennial with a trailing growth habit. Leaves are dark green, simple, elliptic to ovate, lower leaves have a short petiole, while uppermost are sessile. Blooms are clusters of 1" wide pink flowers. Should be cut back after flowering to force new shoots and retain growth.
