Description
Botanical Name: 
Pinus halepensis

A native to the Mediterranean region.  Open irregular crown of many short ascending branches.  Needles are very slender 2 1/2" to 4" long, distinctly yellowish green and produced in pairs.  The cones are 3" long, oval to oblong, stalked and bent backwards.  Green at first, ripening glossy red-brown after a couple of years. Moderate to fast growth rate.
