Mexican Evening Primrose
Native to southwestern U.S. and Mexico. A spreading, invasive perennial that has very showy blooms spring through autumn. Leaves are green, oblong to lanceolate, 1" to 1 3/4" long, 1/4" to 3/4" wide. Blooms are 1" to 2" in diameter, white maturing to a rosy pink. Spreads by rhizomes and self sowing. Great groundcover for this region.
